Producing a successful short ‘Folk Horror’ film will require a lot of shot exploration, development of pace and sequencing, and story narrative. Research will play a major part in the development of your project as you will need to find rural locations, form a story based on historical folklore and mythology.

From these developments, you will produce a storyboard and shooting plan of your final shoot, detailing your proposed locations, props, costumes, the people involved. ​
